Salads deserve to be dressed. A solid dressing can transform an otherwise dull collection of leaves and ingredients into a vibrant expression of flavour. This simple four-ingredient French dressing takes 30 seconds to prepare, is versatile, and will blanket any salad in a glistening, sweet, and acidic coating that enhances each bite.
The flavour profile balances the tangy sharpness of apple cider vinegar, softened by the natural sweetness of honey, while Dijon mustard adds depth and a mild kick. Extra virgin olive oil provides a smooth, peppery and rich base.
